When scanning a product or asking a question, the App sends the barcode data and relevant product information to a secure backend server to generate an AI-based response.
This processing is necessary to analyze food composition and provide informational summaries to the user.

NutriScan AI displays advertisements in the free version of the App using Google AdMob.
Advertising data may include device identifiers used for ad delivery and frequency capping.

NutriScan AI offers optional in-app subscriptions to unlock PRO features such as increased usage limits and an ad-free experience. All payments are processed securely by Apple via the App Store. NutriScan AI does not have access to users’ payment information.
NutriScan AI does not use third-party analytics tools to track individual users.
NutriScan AI does not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties. Any data processed by third-party services (such as advertising providers) is governed by their respective privacy policies.
NutriScan AI is not intended for children under the age of 13. The App does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Since NutriScan AI does not collect or store personal data on its servers, there is no personal data to access, modify, or delete externally. All locally stored data can be removed by uninstalling the App.
